 The Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is pleased to announce James J. Feeley, Jr. as Grand Marshal for the 2012 parade. Mr. Feeley is the owner of Ace Waste Services, LLC, which is one of the top solid waste haulers in Broward County.
Jim was born and raised in New York to immigrant parents, James Feeley, Sr., from County Cavan, Ireland and Catherine Feeley, formerly O'Brien, from County Clare, Ireland. He has been in the solid waste business since 1987 and has owned his own solid waste company since 2004. Jim and his wife Kim have three wonderful children, and are very active in philanthropic causes, such as: Women In Distress of Broward County, Boys & Girls Club of Broward County, O.J. McDuffie Catch 81 Foundation, March of Dimes, YMCA of Broward County, St. Thomas Aquinas Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Autism Society, Annual Fort Lauderdale Aides Walk, Kids In Distress, and many others.
Jim has been a steadfast supporter of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival since its reintroduction in 2010. He has proven to be an integral asset to Parade and Festival through numerous sponsorships and planning participation. Jim Feeley will serve the Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival well as an excellent Grand Marshal! |
